Somewhere in Greece
I'm now on a bus, somewhere in Greece. I'm not 100% sure how I ended up here. I remember a waiter mentioning how the train tracks between Patras and Athens were destroyed or broken somewhere. I didn't pay it much heed at the time because the lady at the train station didn't say anything. She said we'd have to change trains at Kornithos and that's it. She didn't even tell those Canadian kids we met at said train station that much. They thought they were going straight to Athens. Then, all of the sudden, a good hour and a half before our stop, everyone starts getting off the train. The Canadian kids we were on the train with said one of the ladies told them they needed to get off the train there, get a bus that will take them to another train station, then catch that train to Athens. Well, I hadn't heard anything about that so I was happy to see what would've happened had I stayed on the train, but the packed train completely emptied. It looked like what happens when you reach the end of the line, and so Jessica and I decided to follow suit. They had two buses waiting outside that everyone piled into--they didn't seem to be ushering people to different buses based on destination, so we just hopped on one of the buses. Now, though, the other bus that was ahead of us branched off and went another direction. So I sure hope we end up in the right place. Well, it'll be an adventure if not!

Korinthos, Greece
Success! Both buses met back up half way here and they did indeed take us to Korinthos where we were supposed to meet our connecting train to Athens. With 25 minutes to spare, no less. And it was a pretty cool tour of the towns between Patras and Korinthos. While I was in the mood for an adventure, ending up on top of Mt. Olympus might've made it a bit difficult to check in to my hostel, so I'm glad we're back on track.
